The Lord demonstrated something to me this morning. My mother has two trees that were bearing mature fruit and we did not notice. The mature breadfruit were high in the tree and hidden among the leaves. We could only see them if we looked from a particular angle. Also the otahetie apple tree had a bounty of fruit (so much that lot had fallen off the tree and rotted) but they were hidden under the canopy of leaves.
I sense the Lord is saying (1) get His perspective [the breadfruit] and (2) look beyond the surface [the apple tree]. The time of harvest has come upon us unawares, are there enough laborers in the field? Let us not be like the people who were praying for Peter’s release1)Acts 12:5-17 from prison, yet were unexpectant about his release. This is a call to all evangelists, pastors, intercessors – all of God’s praying people. The harvest has come. Let us work with willing hands to reap the fruit that is maturing now. Our prayers have not been in vain – Hallelujah!
I sense a time of a great evangelical move of God in this nation. Let us not miss it, lest the fruit fall to the ground and rots.
Isaiah 43:19 – Behold I do a new thing…NOW it shall spring forth. The NOW has come.
